Since December 4, 2014, members of the Les Mélodistes choir have had the honour of performing their annual Christmas concert as part of the Guignolée des Médias food drive at Mail Champlain. This event, coordinated with Maison d’Entraide Saint-Alphonse, has become a genuine tradition, prepared with care and enthusiasm by the choir.
Through our songs, we want to convey a simple but essential message: the holidays are approaching, and it’s time to embrace generosity and solidarity toward those most in need. Singing at Mail Champlain is much more than a performance—it’s a way to bring joy, hope, and human kindness to everyone we meet in the centre’s aisles.
We deeply appreciate the administrative and technical team at Mail Champlain, who are always available, attentive, and ready to help. I still remember our first concert: with our 150 kg of sound equipment, we didn’t know where to go! The maintenance staff immediately guided us and helped us unload everything. Their kindness and efficiency made all the difference.
Another memorable moment dates to December 2022, shortly after the pandemic. I had forgotten to confirm our attendance with management. In just two days, Mélanie Auger orchestrated everything: stages, installation, logistics... everything was ready on time. This dedication and responsiveness perfectly represent Mail Champlain’s spirit: a place of heart, collaboration, and community.
