From recycling to composting, our facilities facilitate responsible waste management for our visitors, our tenants, and our employees.
Our waste sorting stations in the food court and throughout the shopping centre encourage the proper sorting of materials, thereby maximizing their recycling. In addition, our restaurant operators make sure to compost their kitchen organic waste.
Two Électrobacs are also available at Mail Champlain –located near entrances #1 and #2. These bins are designed to recycle small electronic devices. In 2023 alone, we’ve recuperated 5,649 obsolete electronic devices.
Located near the REM’s Panama station, Mail Champlain encourages its customers to come to the centre via RTL buses, the REM and by bicycle. Several public transit routes will bring you to our doors, including routes 6, 13, 15, 54, and 77; as well, all of our parking areas include bicycle racks.
Four electric vehicle charging stations are also available for users who need to recharge their vehicle’s battery.
Throughout the property, both in common areas and parking lots, we prioritize LED lighting, which is much more efficient than conventional lighting.
We have also installed electric thermostats in all of our common areas. This ensures that the temperature is regulated to maximize your comfort while reducing our energy consumption.
